Business Continuity Strategist

As a Business Continuity Specialist at ING, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of our business operations. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining our Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework, processes, and procedures to minimize customer impact.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the overall BCM strategy and framework
- Design and implement BCM processes and procedures
- Coordinate and monitor BCM/DR exercises with internal and external stakeholders
- Act as a first-line champion for the Operational Resilience Standard (ORS) for I&E
- Perform ORS and BCM control compliance checks and contribute to the Non-financial Risk Score
- Participate in BCM-related audits and regular discussions at local and global levels
- Align with the central and Local Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)/Business Continuity team
- Lead the continuous improvement of the BCM process
- Proven track record in Business Continuity Management
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles
- Experience and thorough understanding of BCM processes and IT stack
- Certification in Business Continuity Management is a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Agile working hours and willingness to work on standby shifts if required
- Self-driven, proactive, and organized with the ability to identify what needs to be done
- Results-oriented and striving to deliver value-adding services
- Strong team player with a strong sense of responsibility
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Professional and intellectual IT ability at university level - at least a Bachelor's degree
