Job Title: Manager GL Accounting & Financial Reporting EMEA

At Corbion, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager GL Accounting & Financial Reporting EMEA to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting processes for Corbion EMEA, ensuring timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, educate, and motivate the GL accounting teams across EMEA.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for all EMEA entities in accordance with Corbion accounting policies and local GAAP.
  • Standardize financial reporting and accounting processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and handling ledger accounting topics such as accruals, intercompany positions, and asset accounting.
  • Lead and optimize financial accounting processes, serving as a key user of SAP S4/HANA and driving process improvements within SAP and GL processes.
  • Ensure adherence to financial audits, control frameworks, tax audits, and Corbion's Transfer Pricing Policy.
  • Contribute to group-wide accounting projects.
  • Align and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders (business controllers, operations, Manager AP) and external stakeholders (auditors).
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree in Accounting and/or Auditing.
  • 5-7 years of financial accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with regulations related to Transfer Pricing.
  • Strong understanding of design, execution, and verification of administrative processes.
  • Experience with production accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills and affinity with IT (ERP systems) and auditing.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
