Job Summary
Corbion is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Manager to oversee the accounting processes for Corbion EMEA. As the Senior Financial Manager, you will be responsible for managing the GL accounting teams, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and harmonizing financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Lead, educate, and motivate the GL accounting teams across EMEA.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for all EMEA entities in accordance with Corbion accounting policies and local GAAP.
- Process Harmonization: Standardize financial reporting and accounting processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and handling ledger accounting topics such as accruals, intercompany positions, and asset accounting.
- Process Optimization: Lead and optimize financial accounting processes, serving as a key user of SAP S4/HANA and driving process improvements within SAP and GL processes.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial audits, control frameworks, tax audits, and Corbion's Transfer Pricing Policy.
- Project Participation: Contribute to group-wide accounting projects.
- Stakeholder Communication: Align and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders (business controllers, operations) and external stakeholders (auditors).
- Leadership Support: Act as a sparring partner and backup support for the Finance Director EMEA and cooperate closely with the Senior Financial Manager for Corbion Spain.
Requirements
- Education: (Post)Master's degree in Accounting and/or Auditing.
- Experience: 5-7 years of financial accounting experience.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulations related to Transfer Pricing.
- Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of design, execution, and verification of administrative processes.
- Industry Experience: Experience with production accounting.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills and affinity with IT (ERP systems) and auditing.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of IFRS.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Language: Fluent in English.
