Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Development Manager to join our team in Northern Europe, reporting directly to the Director of Projects and Construction. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and success by managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and exceptional quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams to reposition existing properties and drive new openings, overseeing all aspects from feasibility studies to project handover.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, cost analyses, and forecasts to inform decision-making and ensure transparent reporting.
  • Tender for contractors, reviewing technical and financial proposals, and making recommendations to the CAPEX committee.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project execution plans, manage displacement strategies, and monitor progress against KPIs.
  • Coordinate design management, ensuring seamless delivery of design packages, and handle construction management, including cost control, scope definition, quality assurance, and risk mitigation.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in design and construction project management at both technical and strategic levels.
  • Excellent knowledge of the construction industry, local market trends, and relevant legislation.
  • Prior experience in the hotel industry is advantageous.
