About this position
TNO is seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team in developing efficient recycling processes for photovoltaic (PV) modules. The ideal candidate will have a background in materials science, chemistry, or physics and a strong interest in multi-disciplinary problem-solving.
Key responsibilities
- Design and apply a characterisation protocol to study the effect of various physical, chemical, and mechanical treatments on the different materials and interfaces composing the PV cells.
- Conduct hands-on experiments and data analysis/interpretation to develop a universal and scalable process for delaminating PV module front or back sheets.
Requirements
- Background education in materials science, chemistry, or physics.
- Multi-disciplinary approach to problem-solving.
- Good team-working skills.
- Minimum of 6 months availability.
