Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team in Vlaardingen, Netherlands. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, working closely with our global QA team to identify and resolve quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing goods to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Capture and report inspection results in our ERP system (IFS)
  • Collaborate with the Quality Systems Manager to prevent customer quality issues
  • Identify deviations from known standards and participate in root cause analysis
  • Develop and implement improvement proposals to enhance quality processes
  • Coordinate the global Manufacturing Product Review Board (MRB) and run it on site
  • Advise on and implement stop/go notes and quarantining of product
  • Investigate product issues from suppliers and customer returns, and assist in resolving complaints
  • Contribute to maintaining up-to-date work instructions and procedures
  • Perform statistical analysis of test data to drive continuous improvement
  • Conduct in-process and final testing of batches to required specifications
  • Authorize release documentation and communicate test information to relevant stakeholders
  • Assist in setting up and running a high-performing QC area in the Vlaardingen warehouse, with associated reporting of internal QC KPIs
About You:
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Engineering background or qualifications highly valued
  • Self-motivated problem solver with ability to work independently
  • Significant experience with ERP systems, particularly IFS
  • Intermediate skills in Excel
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
  • Internal audit experience, ideally with a qualification
  • Basic metrology equipment experience
  • LEAN six sigma qualification (yellow/green belt) desirable
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and sampling methodologies
