Netflix is seeking a highly skilled Employment Legal Counsel to join our growing team in EMEA. As a key member of our employment law team, you will provide expert advice on all corporate employment matters, collaborating closely with HR, Talent, and other business teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Advise on corporate employment matters, including recruiting, contingent workers, employment practices, and termination practices.
- Support EMEA content productions with employment-related matters.
- Provide subject matter expertise and train on employment issues, including anti-harassment and termination practices.
- Proactively identify and balance employment law risk, offering practical solutions in partnership with business teams.
- Stay current with employment-related legal developments and advise Netflix accordingly.
- Investigate incidents and manage employment-related litigation in EMEA.
- Collaborate with the global Employment Legal team on projects and issues.
- Select and manage outside counsel effectively.
- At least 6+ years of deep experience in employment law and labor relation matters in a law firm and/or in-house in a multinational company.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross-functionally, think practically, and be solution-oriented.
- Passion for the Netflix brand and commitment to maintaining a diverse and inclusive harassment-free workplace.
