Employment Legal Counsel

Netflix is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employment Legal Counsel to join our growing team in EMEA. As a key member of our global employment law team, you will play a critical role in supporting our business operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Key Responsibilities:- Advise on all corporate employment matters in close collaboration with members of HR, Talent, and other business teams.
- Support EMEA content productions with employment-related matters, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Provide subject matter expertise and training on a broad range of employment issues, including recruiting, contingent workers, employment practices, anti-harassment, and termination practices.
- Proactively identify, assess, and balance employment law risk, offering practical and creative solutions in partnership with the business teams.
- Stay current with meaningful employment-related legal developments and advise Netflix on relevant matters.
- Investigate incidents and/or complaints and manage employment-related litigation in EMEA, as needed.
- Collaborate with the global Employment Legal team on projects and issues, ensuring consistency and best practices.
- Select, manage, and use outside counsel effectively, ensuring the best possible outcomes for Netflix.
- Support Netflix's commitment to maintaining a diverse and inclusive harassment-free workplace.
- At least 6+ years of deep experience in employment law and labor relation matters in a law firm and/or in-house in a multinational company.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross-functionally, think practically, and be solution-oriented.
- Passion for the Netflix brand and content, with a desire to be part of our global team of employment lawyers.
