Employment Legal Counsel

We are seeking an experienced Employment Legal Counsel to join our team in EMEA. As a key member of our employment law team, you will provide expert advice on all corporate employment matters, support EMEA content productions with employment-related issues, and proactively identify and mitigate employment law risk.
Key Responsibilities- Advise on all corporate employment matters in close collaboration with members of HR, Talent, Employment Tax, Mobility & Immigration.
- Support EMEA content productions with employment-related matters in EMEA.
- Provide subject matter expertise and train on a broad range of employment issues, including recruiting, contingent workers, employment practices, anti-harassment and termination practices and approaches.
- Proactively identify, assess, and balance employment law risk, and offer practical, business-oriented and creative solutions in partnership with the business teams.
- Stay current with, and advise Netflix on, meaningful employment-related legal developments.
- Investigate incidents and/or complaints and manage employment-related litigation in EMEA.
- Collaborate with the global Employment Legal team on projects and issues.
- Select, manage and use outside counsel effectively.
- Support Netflix's commitment to maintaining a diverse and inclusive harassment-free workplace.
- At least 6+ years of deep experience in employment law and labor relation matters in a law firm and/or in-house in a multinational.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented.
