Position Overview:

We are seeking a Counsel, Employment Legal - EMEA to enhance our legal team in the EMEA region. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the Netflix brand and eager to contribute to our global team of employment lawyers. The ideal candidate will leverage their legal expertise to support our dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive advice on corporate employment matters in collaboration with HR professionals and business partners.
  • Support EMEA content productions with employment-related legal issues.
  • Offer subject matter expertise and training on various employment topics, including recruitment, contingent workforce management, and termination practices.
  • Identify and assess employment law risks, providing practical and innovative solutions in partnership with business teams.
  • Stay informed on significant employment law developments and advise the organization accordingly.
  • Assist in investigating incidents and managing employment-related litigation as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the global Employment Legal team on various projects and initiatives.
  • Effectively manage outside counsel when required.
  • Support our commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace free from harassment.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 years of substantial experience in employment law and labor relations, either in a law firm or in-house within a multinational context.
  • Experience in employment law is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions, with a practical and solution-oriented mindset.
