Senior PR, Marketing and Communications Specialist

INSIDE Industry Association is a European Technology Platform for research, design, and innovation on Intelligent Digital Systems and their applications. The Association is a membership organization for European research and innovation actors, with over 250 members and associates from all over Europe.

The objective of INSIDE Industry Association is to strengthen Europe's position in embedded intelligence and systems and to achieve a top position for the European industry. We create a meeting space where top players from the industry and other R&D entities identify subjects for important innovation projects that they wish to approach together.

Position:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Public Relations, Marketing, and Communication Manager to join our team. This senior leadership role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication initiatives, marketing campaigns, and public relations activities to enhance the visibility, reputation, and influence of our Association within the IT Electronic Components and Systems industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute high-level communication strategies to effectively communicate the Association's mission, objectives, and key initiatives to the members of the Association and to the entire Electronic Components and Systems (ECS) community.
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns to promote membership growth, engagement, and retention.
  • Day by day communication activities, including INSIDE's website, blog, social media, and magazine.
  • Support the Secretary General in MarCom daily activities, corporate communications with Secretary General.
  • Consolidate, secure, and strengthen media coverage to enhance the association's visibility and leadership. Create content for press releases, articles, blog posts, social media posts, newsletters, and website.
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional INSIDE team, about memberships, events, and objectives, to ensure the alignment with communication and marketing.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication and marketing activities, leveraging data and insights to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, marketing, or communication roles, preferably within the electronics, software, IT industry or a related sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication and marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives, including the use of modern MarCom digital channels and tools.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages for diverse audiences and channels.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with INSIDE team, INSIDE Association members, European Community and member states representatives.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and web analytics.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience leading and mentoring cross-functional teams.
  • Background or experience in the area of Electronic Components and Systems, Embedded Systems, IT and Software.

Availability and location:

The position is full-time (38-40 hours) and is based in Eindhoven, with opportunities to work remotely.
