The Role:

As a Systems Analysis Engineer, you will play a crucial part in creating system models for complex naval vessels, describing their functional behavior, and ensuring traceability of requirements through Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). You will guide project teams in systems analysis and modeling processes, support tool integration, and assist in modeling functionality and requirements. Your role also includes supporting the requirements engineering process, including traceability, analysis, decomposition, verification, and validation (V&V).

Responsibilities:
  • Define and update the systems analysis and modeling processes
  • Maintain the Systems Modeling Management plan, detailing the process
  • Actively engage with and provide support to various modeling and design teams
  • Assist in the requirements engineering process and the V&V process
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and customers

Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, preferably in (naval) shipbuilding
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and requirements engineering
  • Knowledge of the Arcadia Method and experience with CAPELLA (or equivalent MBSE) tools
  • Experience with IBM Rational DOORS is a plus
  • Key competencies: team-player, conscientious, communicative, proactive, and planning-oriented
  • Mastery of the English language, both written and verbal. The ability to read German is considered a plus
  • Excellent antecedents because a pre-employment security screening is a standard part of the recruitment procedure
  • Permanent multiyear EU citizenship combined with permanent EU work visa are all requirements of the recruitment process for viable candidates, given the military nature of clients and projects
