Risk Management Associate
Located in our Amsterdam office, this role will be part of our team responsible for ensuring that our clients' transactions comply with all relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough reviews of customer relationships, documentation, activity patterns, and transactions to identify potential suspicious activity or discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing complex customer data to detect potential red flags or high-risk indicators;
- Conducting comprehensive risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve day-to-day issues and escalate more complex challenges as needed;
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends to inform risk management strategies;
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and managers to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Finance, Business, Economics);
- At least 2 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field;
- Fluency in English and Dutch;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently;
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Google Suite applications.
