Postdoctoral Researcher in Cancer Therapies

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Radboud University in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be working in the context of the Oncode Accelerator Growth Fund Project, focusing on the development of new cancer therapies.

The researcher will be applying state-of-the-art mass spectrometry-based proteomics techniques to determine the on- and off-targets of existing and newly developed cancer drugs in cancer cell lines and organoid models. Additionally, the candidate will have the opportunity to develop additional research lines and/or ideas that align with this topic.

The ideal candidate should hold a Ph D degree in molecular biology, analytical chemistry, or a related field. Excellent communication and writing skills are also essential. The researcher should be a team player, thrive in collaborative environments, and have strong analytical skills and a result-oriented attitude.

The project will be executed at the Department of Molecular Biology, which is part of the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences (RIMLS-Science). The department focuses on understanding how genes are regulated and expressed in stem cells and cancer.

The employment contract will be for one year with the prospect of an indefinite contract. The salary will be within salary scale 10, depending on the candidate's previous education and number of years of (relevant) work experience.
