Project Overview
The Radboud University is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to contribute to a research project focused on the governance of grand societal challenges. The project aims to improve our understanding of the implementation and effects of decent work regulation, examining whether and how regulatory changes on decent work within global value chains help reduce organisational wrongdoing and corruption, and thereby affect decent working conditions for shop-floor workers in the Global South.
Research Objectives
- To investigate the perspectives of various stakeholders, including business organisations, employee and employer associations, workers, governments, international and non-governmental organisations, and their roles in decent work regulation.
- To conduct research collaborations with international organisations working on the topic.
- To collect and analyse data using qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviews, observations, document analysis, and surveys.
- To present empirical findings through written reports, academic articles, and international conference presentations.
Teaching Responsibilities
The selected candidate will have a 10% teaching load, teaching courses in the Bachelor's degree programme in Business Administration and/or the Master's specialisation in Organisational Design and Development and/or Strategic Human Resource Management.
Collaboration and Supervision
The Postdoctoral Researcher will work closely with Drs Stefan Schembera, Sofija Pajic, Lander Vermeerbergen, and Nora Lohmeyer, contributing to the project's success and growth.
