Key Responsibilities

As Aviation Digital Lead, you will be responsible for integrating our Digital Way of Working (DWOW) and developing and growing our external Aviation Digital Strategy and Advisory services. To accomplish that, you:

  • Develop and implement an internal and external digital strategy that aligns with our core services, ensuring digital integration and development.
  • Guide professionals in crafting a digital vision, leveraging emerging technologies to set clear objectives and establish viable business models.
  • Lead the creation of digital consultancy offerings that complement our technical services, enhancing operational insights and decision-making.
  • Incorporate our broad digital capabilities to meet evolving client needs, ensuring our services remain at the forefront of the industry.
  • Prepare materials for proposals, conduct market scans and actively participate in sales pitches to showcase our digital services.
  • Work alongside business development and marketing teams to strengthen client relationships and broaden our reach.
  • Act as liaison within our matrix organization, identifying synergies across teams to support client solutions and digital transformation.
  • Act as our representative for internal Corporate Digital integration and integrate Royal HaskoningDHV's wider digital offerings and capabilities to help meet client demands.

As Aviation Digital Lead, you will become part of the Business Unit Aviation. This is one of the smaller and more boutique units and consists of the worldwide renowned consultancy brand NACO, Netherlands Airport Consultants. Our highly motivated team delivers full spectrum, integrated engineering-, strategic- and management consultancy services related to airport and aviation development all over the globe. You will be based in The Hague area (new office in Delft from January 2025), the Netherlands, from which we run our aviation business.

Requirements

Working in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams spread across different countries is no problem for you. Besides the ability to work in a team environment, you also work effectively when working individually. You also have:

  • 10-15 years' work experience in digital transformation, business organisation consultancy, preferably in aviation.
  • Knowledge of IT architecture & Data science required.
  • Experience with existing and upcoming aviation-related technology applications, to improve efficiency and performance of aviation processes, is highly valued (e.g., digital twin applications, airport operating data bases, airport IT systems/architecture, (biometric) passenger processing systems, A-CDM/TAM).
  • (Near) native English language proficiency.
  • Relevant Master's level university degree.
