We are a 4-star hotel located in the heart of Amsterdam, overlooking the river IJ. Our hotel is part of the Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts group, known for its luxurious gastronomic hospitality. We are passionate about creating an unforgettable experience for our guests, and we are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Housekeeping and Quality Management Trainee.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team as a Housekeeping and Quality Management Trainee. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our hotel. You will work closely with our housekeeping supervisors and other departments to ensure that our guests have an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the work of our outsourced cleaning and dishwashing staff to ensure that our public areas and rooms are always clean and tidy.
- Conduct regular checks of our rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet our quality standards.
- Work closely with our technical service department to ensure that any issues or repairs are addressed promptly.
- Communicate effectively with our guests and other departments to ensure that their needs are met.
- Assist with the maintenance of our linen room and ensure that all employees have a clean and tidy uniform.
- Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Fluent written and spoken English, and preferably Dutch as well.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
- A competitive trainee allowance of €750,- per month, including study and travel allowance.
- A 38-hour work week, with opportunities for overtime.
- A night-shift allowance of 20% and a Sunday allowance of 5%.
