Job Description

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of offshore geophysical and geotechnical projects. You oversee the execution of work in the Marine Site Characterisation business line, covering Europe and Africa. Your role involves utilising specialist survey vessels and equipment in a global market.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. You plan, coordinate, and monitor projects to achieve optimal balance between cost, time, quality, benefit, and risk in marine geotechnical and geophysical projects.
2. You supervise and guide project teams, promoting a Team Fugro culture and supporting the development of a positive safety culture.
3. You develop project documentation, including project execution plans and setup project management controls.
4. You communicate with clients, internal partners, and sub-contractors, and support the tendering process.
5. You have opportunities to develop specialist and project management skills through external and internal courses.

Requirements

1. You have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in an industry-associated discipline and experience in project management, preferably in marine geotechnical or geophysical projects.
2. You possess excellent planning skills and thrive in a high-pressure environment.
3. You are proactive and determined to deliver results efficiently on our projects.
4. You enjoy working collaboratively with a diverse team and are open and transparent in your communication.
5. You have a good understanding of the English language (verbal and written).
