Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our in-house legal team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and driving litigation strategy, advising management stakeholders on legal risks, and developing creative approaches to resolving disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and drive litigation strategy for regulatory, consumer affairs, platform regulations, content-related matters, and commercial/contractual disputes
- Advise management stakeholders on litigation strategy and risks
- Develop creative approaches to managing legal risks and resolving disputes
- Work with and coordinate outsourced legal counsel in all jurisdictions
- Collaborate with business teams to identify and address relevant legal risks
- Build processes with operational teams to facilitate legal compliance across the company
- Be the legal point of contact for the sustainability team
Requirements
- Qualification in one bar association
- 7+ years of experience in a law firm and/or as an in-house counsel in litigation (commercial, platform, and consumer-related)
- Experience managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- Experience managing high-stakes, complex litigation
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
- Platform-related litigation experience is a strong plus
- Proactivity, attention to detail, and a passion for technology-driven businesses
