We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Optical Coating and Metallization Engineer to join our team. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of our processes, working with state-of-the-art technology and collaborating with a talented group of international colleagues.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for overseeing metal deposition and optical coating tools and processes, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Optimize existing and develop new processes in the metal production area, focusing on evaporated physical vapor deposition and rapid annealing on 4′′ wafers.
  • Plan and execute tests to continuously improve processes in terms of stability, yield, throughput times, and costs.
  • Define, specify, and qualify production materials and auxiliary materials.
  • Maintain and improve SPC processes while providing technical support on tools and coating and metallization knowledge within the wafer fab.
  • Interact with various teams, including Test & Measurement, Back-End, and Operations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A PhD or Master's degree in Material Science, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field.
  • 10 years of practical experience in semiconductor technology and industrial manufacturing.
  • Deep knowledge of Metallization and/or optical coatings processes.
  • Experience with PVD and optical coating processes, as well as handling coating systems and vacuum technology.
  • Experience working on Metallization tools.
  • Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Software).
  • Proven experience with improving processes and using statistical tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, DoE).
  • Bias for Action and Ownership – you roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
  • Good communication skills in English.

Salary Range: €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
