Construction Project Manager

Nouvall Engineering Services B.V. is a leading provider of project support services for the (petro) chemical and maritime industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the Construction Manager to review and update construction schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones and contractual obligations.
• Directly supervise site construction personnel, including civil supervisors, piping supervisors, and steel structure supervisors, to ensure effective execution of construction activities.
• Communicate with other contractors' site personnel to facilitate smooth construction progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with applicable references, including project drawings, specifications, procedures, and codes and regulations.
• Supervise the planning and execution of construction works, ensuring compliance with project schedules and contractual milestones.
• Implement and follow up on construction works execution, quality control, safety, and site procedures and method statements, as well as ITPs and QC forms applicable to the activities performed.
• Collaborate with the Construction Manager to ensure the implementation and follow-up of the Mechanical Completion system, ensuring that construction and pre-commissioning activities are properly completed and all systems and subsystems are Ready for Commissioning.
• Work closely with the Material Manager to review the Material Management Plan, including Material Preservation, and the status of material delivery, distribution, and availability.
• Verify with Field Project Engineers the status of field changes and timely inform the Construction Manager or Project Manager of any deviations, construction problems, or concerns that may affect the project execution.
• Must be proficient in Dutch and English.
Requirements
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Must be able to travel to project sites as required.
