We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team at Nouvall Engineering Services.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate construction and pre-commissioning activities in direct connection with the Construction Manager.
- Review construction programs and ensure detail construction schedules are prepared for all areas and erection activities.
- Direct coordination of site construction personnel, including civil supervisors, piping supervisors, and steel structure supervisors.
- Communicate with other contractor's site personnel to achieve a smooth construction progress.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable references, including project drawings, specifications, procedures, and codes.
- Supervise the planning made up by the contractor to ensure it meets the project schedule and contractual milestones.
- Implement and follow up on construction works execution, quality control, safety, and site procedures.
- Work closely with the Construction Manager to ensure the implementation of the Mechanical Completion system and Material Management system.
- Assess the validity of Variation Order Requests and obtain approval from the Construction Manager or Project Manager.
- Attend Quality and HES awareness discussions and daily Tool Boxes.
- Identify and inform about any problems related to the product, process, or quality system.
- Assist the Material Manager and QC Inspector to identify/clarify any Non-Conformity in storage or incoming items.
- Control and execute Contract modifications/changes once they are properly authorized.
- Identify and register lessons learned during the project.
- Must speak Dutch and English.
