Key Responsibilities:
The Director of Sales will take charge of driving sales strategies and managing international sales prospects for the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel. This role encompasses overseeing group and catering business, with a focus on maximizing revenue through effective upselling techniques. You will be responsible for executing the brand's service strategy and initiatives throughout the sales process, fostering customer loyalty by ensuring exceptional service at every touchpoint. Your goal will be to meet both personal and team revenue targets.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrated experience in sales leadership roles within the hospitality sector, ideally in an upscale or lifestyle hotel setting.
- A proactive sales mindset with exceptional negotiation skills and a proven ability to close deals.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
- Comfortable making decisions and taking initiative.
- Skilled at identifying and addressing client needs through effective questioning.
- Driven to achieve challenging yet attainable goals.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A preference for working in a sales-oriented environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a proactive sales role.
- Background in the hospitality industry with knowledge of the international market is advantageous.
- Fluency in Dutch and English is required; proficiency in a third language is a plus.
