We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at De Bijenkorf. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in transforming and activating customer data across our website, app, online marketing channels, and various touchpoints.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve customer experience and drive business growth.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data science into business decision-making.
- Design and build recommender systems, customer segmentation models, and other data-driven solutions to enhance customer engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with data engineers to develop and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data science and machine learning.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in data science, preferably in retail or e-commerce.
- WO working and thinking level with a relevant education.
- Extensive experience with programming languages such as SQL and Python.
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and recommender systems.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to turn customer data opportunities into relevant use cases.
- Proactive attitude and good stakeholder management and communication skills.
