About the Role
Fugro is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Officer to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective information security strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to identify and address security vulnerabilities, and implement controls to prevent data breaches.
- Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that Fugro's information security standards are met.
- Support the business in the bid process, auditing, and other security-related activities.
- Contribute to the development of information security programs and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Share knowledge and insights to increase information security awareness throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in project management and information security.
- Knowledge of information security standards, such as SOC1, SOC2, ISO 27001, and NIST standards, as well as relevant legal compliance aspects.
- Experience working with internal and external auditors and demonstrated experience in application security practices and IT risk and security governance.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
