About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ship Delivery Coordinator to join our team at Damen Shipyards. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of newly built vessels to customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the project during execution and ensure the quality of the execution.
  • Establish a budget, prepare the vessel and delivery crew for the voyage, and ensure all necessary materials are in place.
  • Act as the main point of contact and be responsible for internal and external communications to various stakeholders.
  • Manage and monitor the project execution and budget.
  • Register and administer the project, including preparing, instructing, and evaluating the captain and crew.

Requirements

  • A completed maritime, technical, logistics education, or job specialist knowledge/experience at MBO/HBO level.
  • Nautical, technical, and seamanship experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience within international maritime and logistics services.
  • Experience with and knowledge of maritime laws and regulations (e.g., IMO, SOLAS, ISM, ISPS).
  • Result-oriented, with initiative and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent planner, good at organizing things, and keeping the overview.
  • Mastery of Dutch and English.
  • Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
