Job Title: Digital Solution Lead for Construction

At SBM Offshore, we are committed to delivering safe, sustainable, and affordable energy from the oceans for generations to come. We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Solution Lead for Construction to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Digital Solution Lead for Construction will be responsible for defining the digital solution requirements and managing the complete life cycle of the digital solution from ideation to development, evolution, and decommissioning. This role will involve collecting business needs, defining use cases, and managing initiatives and projects for the selection, development, and deployment of the solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key business and technology stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain relationships with software providers and external partners
  • Contribute to contract management with 3rd party software suppliers
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements for digital solution configuration/development
  • Build the business case for digital solution development, implementation, and lifecycle with business and IT stakeholders
  • Manage the Ideate and Validate phases of the stage gate model process and Change Management
  • Manage the Develop and Deploy phases of the stage gate model process with IT PM
  • Implement and manage lifecycle management process of the digital solution, including change management and versioning/upgrading
  • Monitor KPIs and enforce quality and performance of the digital solution and 3rd party providers based on agreed SLA
  • Audit and report on governance/assurance performance and application of internal/external controls
  • Consolidate value creation with input from the business
  • Act as 'keeper of the vision' of the product and convey vision during development and lifecycle
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other Digital Solution Leads to achieve an optimized digital solution landscape
Requirements:
  • Strong business background to understand business needs – min. 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas Construction and Commissioning scope
  • Functional knowledge of the Digital Solution and IT software development
  • Comfortable with negotiation and commercial set-up
  • Passionate about technology and digital
  • Knowledge in Scrum Agile methodologies a plus
