Job Summary
This role is responsible for maintaining critical facilities infrastructure, performing site inspections, and monitoring building and data centre alarms. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles and previous experience in a critical facilities environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain facility infrastructure, including preventative maintenance and repairs
- Perform site inspections and monitor building and data centre alarms
- Ensure compliance with permit to work systems and manage vendor relationships
- Assist senior staff with responding to on-site incidents and complete basic work requests
- Participate in ongoing infrastructure projects and carry out small works projects
Qualifications
- Vocational or higher vocational education qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Comprehensive knowledge of critical infrastructure, including UPS, generators, BMS, chillers, and life safety systems
- Previous hands-on experience in engineering, preferably in a critical facilities environment
