We are taking another leap forward – fundamentally transforming payments and securities processing to help our customers navigate the complex challenges they face today and remain prepared well into the future. Over the next two years and beyond, we are set to deliver on an exciting strategic roadmap for and with our global community that will expand Swift capabilities beyond financial messaging to provide a platform for comprehensive transaction management services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a comprehensive portfolio of strategic initiatives and related technology efforts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and addressing interdependencies to maximize business outcomes.
  2. Oversee the purpose, status, and plans for all projects as well as cross-project dependencies and achievement of business outcomes.
  3. Plan the portfolio initiatives from inception to completion with clear deadlines, milestones, processes, and defined success metrics.
  4. Work with Finance to define business value, ROI, and oversee financial planning and execution of projects to ensure proper budget management of all projects.
  5. Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements.
  6. Work with agile coaches and road managers and proactively apply agile practices and principles.
  7. Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and processes and work together with the change manager on the human side of change.
  8. Apply change, risk, and resource management principles when needed.
  9. Check with stream leads and managers to determine progress and issues.
  10. Ensure project operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies.
  11. Provide clear, actionable insights to senior management with detailed and accurate dashboards, reports, or presentations on the progress, risks, and success of the initiatives.
  12. Facilitate meetings and conference calls, including scheduling, developing agendas, and meeting minutes, and providing and documenting, tracking, and following up on action items from the meetings.

Skills & Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. 10+ years of experience in project management, portfolio management, or strategic planning within a technology environment.
  3. Proven track record of managing high-impact, cross-functional technology projects and delivering results.
  4. Strong understanding of agile methodologies, with experience applying agile practices and principles in a technology-driven environment.
  5. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  6. Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and implement technology solutions that enhance business performance and efficiency.
  7. Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  8. Strong analytical skills with experience in financial planning, ROI analysis, and performance evaluation.
  9. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior management.
  10. Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar certification is highly desirable.
  11. Experience with change management practices and tools to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new technologies.
