Business Performance Specialist

As a Business Control Analyst at FMO, you will be part of the Public Investment and Blended Finance team (PIM), which creates development finance solutions in areas where financial support is highly necessary.
The PIM team enhances the implementation and maintenance of an integrated control framework to improve steering and increase the effectiveness of PIM activities. This includes support activities that lead to better alignment with other teams within P4i, and within our development bank.
Responsibilities- Manage the allocation of funds given to third parties like CFM and EDFI MC.
- Execute desk reviews and on-the-spot checks over delegated activities.
- Document and report on monitoring tasks performed.
- Monitor compliance of our development bank with accreditation standards and report thereof to the P4i MT.
- E nsure effective liaisons with Internal Audit, Compliance, and Risk functions.
- Address and coordinate the resolution of audit findings, RCSA action items, and risk events.
- Facilitate control effectiveness testing on the P4i control framework and report to the P4i Management Team (MT).
You will report to the Manager PIM and the Senior Business Control Officer. Your most important tasks and targets include:
- Helping the PIM team in managing the allocation of funds given to third parties.
- Executing desk reviews and on-the-spot checks over delegated activities.
- Documenting and reporting on monitoring tasks performed.
- Monitoring compliance of our development bank with accreditation standards and reporting thereof to the P4i MT.

- Gross yearly salary ranging from EUR 60K-65K (including 8% holiday allowance and 13th month), depending on your seniority, years of relevant experience, and background.
- Premium free pension.
- 31 holidays based on a full-time basis working week.
- Working remotely abroad for 60 days in a rolling period of 12 months.
- Hybrid way of working (50/50).
FMO is a leading development bank that provides development finance solutions in areas where financial support is highly necessary but risk-return profiles prevent commercial capital from flowing. Our P4i department features the FMO Investment Management Company (FIM), the Syndications team, and the Agency Desk.
The PIM team creates development finance solutions by using external concessional funds that we directly manage and external funds managed by third parties with FMO's supervision.
