Job Title: Senior Business Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Controller to join our dynamic Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our Central Tech business, you will play a critical role in driving decision-making and supporting our mission to make travel easier for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Central Tech in decision-making, setting directions, and exploring new avenues on strategic priorities.
  • Take ownership of the Planning & Control cycle, driving both short and long-term business planning processes.
  • Identify drivers of financial success for Accommodations business and develop measures for these drivers.
  • Visualize analysis and report work in a way that business partners can easily understand to make decisions.
  • Present findings to senior audiences as needed.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis, scenarios, and benchmarking as required, contributing to new business, expansion, cost control projects, and process improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience, with experience managing budgets in a Technology department/function.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, with Google Sheets a plus.
  • Financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Able to handle demanding stakeholders and take ownership of tasks/processes.
  • Commercial and inquisitive attitude, with excellent communication skills in English.
  • Strong team player with ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities.
