Senior Business Controller

Optiver is seeking a Senior Business Controller to join its Finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving improvement in financial planning and analysis processes, serving as a Finance Business Partner, and providing analysis and actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Drive improvement in design for more effective, efficient, and transparent FP&A processes;
- Serve as a Finance Business Partner;
- Provide analysis and actionable insights to senior stakeholders which contribute to our growth ambition;
- Develop financial budgets and forecasts through facilitating cross-functional collaboration;
- Design financial models to inform executive decision-making regarding operational and capital expenditure;
- Support the development of automated reporting solutions;
- Contribute a financial perspective to business projects and initiatives;
- Exercise control over management and financial reporting;
- Act as a key resource for business leadership regarding financial planning and ad hoc deliverables.
- 8+ years' of relevant experience working in a finance or management consulting role, or as a business controller/FP&A manager;
- Advanced skills in financial modeling and data visualisation;
- Ability to collaborate across management levels and departments, with experience in interacting with and presenting to leadership across diverse teams and locations;
- Strong business acumen, commercial judgement, and stakeholder management skills with a focus on adding value;
- Interest in trading infrastructure and technology;
- Enjoy working in an international environment;
- Team-player who can work in a structured manner and prioritize effectively;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
