Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Counter Drone System Engineer to join our team at Spektrum. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a wide range of exciting projects and clients across the globe.

The successful candidate will have expert knowledge of microwave and signal processing, as well as experience in using source control systems and Dev Ops (Git Hub, TFS). Additionally, they will have experience with the NATO procurement process and be able to demonstrate the ability and self-motivation to work on their own but also work well within groups as part of a team.

About the Role

This role will involve developing technical requirements for C-UAS acquisition projects, prototyping and evaluating C-UAS technologies, and supporting multidisciplinary teams and technical and operational stakeholders. The engineer will also participate in technical and operational meetings, offering advice and seeking solutions, and provide meaningful input to envisioning C-UAS solutions that fit best NATO requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop technical requirements for C-UAS acquisition projects
  • Prototype and evaluate C-UAS technologies
  • Support multidisciplinary teams and technical and operational stakeholders
  • Participate in technical and operational meetings, offering advice and seeking solutions
  • Provide meaningful input to envisioning C-UAS solutions that fit best NATO requirements

Requirements
  • Expert knowledge of microwave and signal processing
  • Experience in using source control systems and Dev Ops (Git Hub, TFS)
  • Experience with the NATO procurement process
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

What We Offer

Spektrum offers a competitive salary of around €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including a generous holiday allowance, flexible working hours, and professional development opportunities.
