Financial Data Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented and analytical professional looking to take your career to the next level? We're seeking a skilled Financial Data Specialist to join our team at HITEC Power Protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, organize, and maintain financial data from various internal and external sources.
  • Develop and maintain financial databases, dashboards, and data management systems.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support decision-making.
  • Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling activities.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, summaries, and visualizations.
  • Present data in a clear and concise manner using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data collection, storage, and reporting processes.
  • Implement automation tools or techniques to enhance the efficiency of financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Support the close process for the HITEC group.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks.
  • Team player with experience working with different cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently but know when to ask for assistance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial data analysis, financial reporting, or a related role.
  • Proficient in Excel and open to becoming a specialist in reporting software like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication skills in English and preferably also in Dutch.
  • Availability for 32 to 40 hours a week.
