Job Title: Concept Engineer

As a Concept Engineer at AWL-Techniek, you will play a crucial role in the inquiry and sales phase, working closely with the sales team to develop technical production solutions for our Automotive Seating clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer-specific inquiries to identify technical requirements and feasibility.
  • Translate inquiries into concrete program of requirements and functional concept designs that meet customer needs and are commercially attractive.
  • Perform calculations to validate concept designs and ensure feasibility.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to present solutions to customers and negotiate contracts.
  • Work with the engineering team to develop and refine concept designs.
Requirements:
  • Completed technical HBO education in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Several years of work experience in a similar work environment, preferably in Automotive, TIER1/2, OEM, Mechanical Engineering, and/or industrial automation.
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English, with proficiency in German a plus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
