About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Concept Engineer to join our team at AWL-Techniek. As a Concept Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the inquiry and sales phase, working closely with colleagues from the sales team, including account management, sales, and proposal engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer-specific inquiries to identify technical requirements and develop innovative solutions.
  • Translate inquiries into concrete program of requirements and functional concept designs that meet customer needs and are technically and commercially attractive.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop technical production solutions for our Automotive Seating clients.
  • Perform calculations to validate concept designs and ensure feasibility.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and refine concept designs, ensuring they meet customer requirements and are commercially viable.
Requirements
  • Completed technical HBO education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Several years of work experience, ideally in a similar work environment.
  • Strong affinity with Automotive, TIER1/2, OEM, Mechanical Engineering, and/or industrial automation.
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English. Proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
