HKU Seeks Senior Biomedical Research Coordinator
The appointee will provide high-level laboratory and administrative support in biomedical research, including technical assistance in communal facilities. They will also assist in teaching, including student practicum.
This role requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a postgraduate degree. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of solid work experience in biological sciences or a related laboratory science discipline, with expertise in mouse genetics.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support for researchers and students
- Managing laboratory operations and maintenance
- Coordinating logistics for research projects
- Assisting in the development and implementation of research protocols
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals
In addition to academic qualifications, the appointee should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic laboratory environment.
