SPIE Traffic and Transport Projects is a key player in the Smart City initiative, delivering tailored solutions for urban and interurban traffic systems, including roads, tunnels, ports, and airports. As specialists in traffic and transport, we manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems. Our work at airports, such as Zestienhoven and Maastricht, includes the installation of passenger bridges and runway lighting.

We engage in innovative, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects and modular traffic management systems.

As a Project Coordinator, you will serve as the central figure within the project team, acting as the main point of contact. Your role will ensure that all necessary information is available for project execution, enabling your colleagues to commence their tasks effectively. This will involve:

  • Assisting in the preparation of quotations for additional work;
  • Utilizing your experience with UAV-GC contract formation;
  • Creating precise project plans while monitoring resource allocation;
  • Reviewing quotations or drawings from external parties;
  • Managing the procurement of essential materials;
  • Focusing on quality assurance and enhancement;
  • Ensuring safe project execution;
  • Coordinating multiple projects running concurrently;
  • Providing all necessary documentation required for the project/contract.

The Project Coordinator we seek is an essential link within the project team. You will be an effective communicator among project leaders, colleagues, suppliers, and subcontractors. Additionally:

  • Possess a completed MBO degree in electrical engineering, along with relevant experience in a technical project setting;
  • Be adaptable across various projects;
  • Have experience in infrastructure projects;
  • Exhibit precision and strong numerical skills;
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
  • Be familiar with standard (MS-Office) and specialized software applications;
  • Understand safety regulations and requirements;
  • Hold a Safety for Executives (VCA VOL) certificate or be willing to obtain one;
  • Be flexible and available outside regular hours if necessary, including potential weekend and night site visits.

For this role, based on a 40-hour work week, we offer:
