**Job Summary**
The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Manager to join our Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for assisting in the supervision and support of daily research activities, coordinating and managing funded research projects, and implementing preclinical and clinical anti-cancer herbal medicines research.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in the supervision and support of daily research activities, including coordination and management of post-doctoral researchers, research assistants, and PhD students.
- Coordinate and manage funded research projects, including grant applications and research reports.
- Implement preclinical and clinical anti-cancer herbal medicines research, including contributing to scientific publications.
- Carry out general administrative work and perform other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
**Requirements**
- Ph.D. degree in Chinese Medicine/Pharmacology with at least 10 years' post-qualification experience in anti-cancer herbal medicines and natural products research.
- Good publication record and experience in conducting collaborative research with clinical scientists.
- Organized, responsible, with good coordination and problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in project management, grant application, demonstrated good leadership, and a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (and preferably fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua).
