Technical Service Team Lead

The scope of your job is to provide technical support to the complete deepsea team at Radio Holland, a specialist in Satellite and Radio communication, Navigation, Automation and Observation systems for various maritime users in the shipping industry.
As a Technical Service Team Lead, you will drive the technical execution process, ensuring high levels and standards of service execution, performance, safety and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include leading a team of service engineers, building high performing teams, implementing process improvements, and analyzing areas for improvement.
You will also be responsible for ensuring service engineers upload service reports via the FSA, obtaining technical advice through research or manufacturer contact, and ensuring hours and expense claims are submitted within one working day.
Additionally, you will ensure engineers comply with the use of FSA, develop competences and skill sets through training programs, and maintain training assets in good working condition.
Other key responsibilities include ensuring engineer's manufacturer/OEM certificates are kept up to date, arranging for refresher training and/or renewals, and ensuring the survey process, documentation, monitoring and code of conduct are followed by the team.
You will also be responsible for preparation and participation in (local) Class audits, ensuring the availability of tools, PPE and test instruments, and accurate record keeping of the Work Equipment Register.
Finally, you will manage the leave of service engineers, ensuring availability to meet business requirements.
Requirements include 5+ years of experience in running a technical team in an operational environment and a BSc or Master in Electronic Engineering.
