Job Title: Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at the Radisson Blu Hotel Amsterdam Airport. As a key member of our Food and Beverage Service Team, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of our food and beverage department, ensuring exceptional guest service, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Food and Beverage Department: Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of food and beverage services, ensuring seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, lead by example, and foster a culture of excellence within the Food and Beverage Service Team.
  • Guest Service: Provide exceptional guest service, responding promptly to guest inquiries, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Revenue Growth: Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Service Team to drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and promotions.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor the Food and Beverage Service Team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure team members reach their full potential.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control food and beverage costs, ensuring efficient inventory management and minimizing waste.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in using IT systems, including point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and other relevant tools.
