Junior Research Associate in Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Research Associate in the field of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. This position is available on a temporary or fixed-term basis, with the potential for extension based on performance.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in biomedical sciences, public health, or related healthcare fields. Preference will be given to those with experience in epidemiological research. Proficiency in written English and spoken Cantonese is essential, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office applications. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and organizational capabilities. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team is crucial.

The successful applicant will play a vital role in community-based research focusing on the epidemiology and vaccine responses of respiratory viral infections, such as influenza, in the local population. Responsibilities will include assisting with data collection and entry, preparing reports and presentations, providing administrative support, and undertaking additional tasks as required. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be offered for those interested in pursuing further academic qualifications.
