We are seeking a highly skilled Transaction Monitoring Specialist to join our team at SIX Payment Services. As a key member of our Anti-Financial Crime team, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze alerts generated by our AML software to identify reportable transactions and ensure timely and accurate filing of all required reports.
- Identify patterns and trends consistent with money laundering and terrorist financing, and flag any suspicious activities detected.
- Keep accurate records and log all work to ensure stakeholders have all necessary information available in a timely manner.
- Confirm potential AML and terrorist financing cases for referral to the relevant authorities for pattern analysis.
- Escalate issues as appropriate for advanced investigation and analysis.
- Identify and analyze customers and accounts for suspicious/unusual activity and compile complete and accurate documentation of the suspicious activity.
- Ensure that deadlines for all BSA/AML related report submissions are met.
- Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- AML monitoring knowledge and/or experience.
- Knowledge of BSA, AML, USA Patriot Act, OFAC, PSDII and other relevant regulations is a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
