About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Return Process Specialist to join our team at Mettler Toledo. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless return and rework operations at our outsourced warehouse in Heijen, the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate return and rework activities with our 3PL partner to ensure efficient processing and resolution of issues.
  • Work closely with commercial businesses within Mettler Toledo to align on returns and drive improvements.
  • Provide first-level support for return and rework issues, including troubleshooting and resolving system and operational problems.
  • Collaborate with the wider Mettler Toledo global network to provide 2nd and 3rd level support for complex issues.
  • Perform process analysis and implement improvements to optimize return and rework operations.
  • Maintain the local IT network and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Ensure global alignment of used processes and tools.
  • Support and drive continuous improvement campaigns and trainings related to returns.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics engineering, industrial engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience as an engineer in a logical, production environment or a supply chain environment.
  • IT knowledge of networks and related troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of business processes and technical demands.
  • Experience in stakeholders communication and collaboration with a 3PL partner.
  • Continuous improvement and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of standard tools 8D/CAPA.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Ability to work with MS-Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • English language skills (speaking and writing) and Dutch language skills (a plus).
