- This position is a key part of the Operations Engineering team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where innovation and groundbreaking technology come together in the development and delivery of High-End Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEMs).
- The team is responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of various cameras and detectors on these high-end TEMs.
- As part of this team, you will provide second-line support to the factory and service for technical issues, ensuring the shipping of high-quality systems to customers.
- Responsibilities
- Support the supply chain with engineering expertise, analyzing parts for reliability, manufacturability, and technical quality issues.
- Participate in supplier audits and improve parts quality through structured, project-based improvements.
- Craft and maintain manufacturing tooling and documentation, defining ways of working and providing training.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's or university degree in a technical area, preferably physics, electronics, or mechatronics.
- Confirmed experience in a high-tech industry, preferably in a manufacturing engineering environment.
- Excellent communication and social skills, with a collaborative team player mentality.
