Role Purpose

  • The Strategic Sourcing Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing the organization’s understanding and effective integration of its overall capacity to meet strategic and operational goals.
  • Contribute actively to the overarching Supply Chain strategy and its successful execution, fostering continuous improvement while collaborating with Regional Centers and business leaders.
  • Assist the Strategic Sourcing community by conducting necessary analyses across various categories and reporting in line with strategic Supply Chain requirements.

Role Contributions

To effectively translate Supply Chain strategy into actionable procedures and systems while ensuring ongoing enhancement of operational practices, the Strategic Sourcing Analyst will undertake the following tasks as directed by the Group Strategic Sourcing Manager:

Data Analysis

Conduct comprehensive internal and external analyses across categories.

Compile internal benchmarks.

Effectiveness Measures:

  • Accountable for performing data analyses as requested by the Group Strategic Sourcing Manager.
  • Responsible for converting analysis results into visual reports for distribution to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure the adequacy of analyses and obtain approval from business stakeholders.

Reporting and Documentation

Produce various Strategic Sourcing reports, newsletters, and documentation as required by the business.

Manage the risk and opportunities register and reporting.

Support Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting.

Effectiveness Measures:

  • Regularly issue reports to relevant internal business entities following internal approval.
  • Incorporate feedback and ensure reporting is updated according to business needs.
  • Generate presentations, reports, and analyses as directed.
