Role Purpose

  • The Strategic Sourcing Analyst plays a crucial role in helping the organization understand and effectively integrate its overall capacity to meet strategic and operational goals.
  • Contribute actively to the Group Supply Chain strategy and its successful execution, fostering continuous improvement and providing support to Regional Centers and business owners while collaborating with process owners.
  • Assist the Strategic Sourcing community by conducting necessary analyses across various categories and reporting in line with the strategic requirements of the Supply Chain.

Role Contribution

To effectively translate Supply Chain strategy into actionable procedures and systems while ensuring ongoing improvement in operations, the Strategic Sourcing Analyst will undertake the following tasks as directed by the Group Strategic Sourcing Manager.

Data Analysis

Conduct required internal and external analyses across categories.

Consolidate internal benchmarks.

Measure of Effectiveness:

  • Responsible for performing data analysis (both internal and external) as required by the Group Strategic Sourcing Manager.
  • Translate the results of these analyses into visual reports for dissemination to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the adequacy of the analysis and obtain approval from business stakeholders.

Reporting and Documentation

Produce various Strategic Sourcing reports, newsletters, and documentation as required by the business.

Manage the risk and opportunities register and reporting.

Support ESG reporting initiatives.

Measure of Effectiveness:

  • Regularly issue reports to relevant internal business entities following internal approval.
  • Incorporate feedback and ensure reporting is updated according to business needs.
  • Generate presentations, reports, and analyses as directed.
