Role Purpose

  • The Sourcing Strategy Analyst plays a crucial role in helping the organization enhance its understanding and effectively integrate, realign, and apply its total enterprise capacity to meet strategic and operational goals.
  • Contribute actively to the overarching Supply Chain strategy and its successful execution, fostering continuous improvement and providing support to Regional Centers and business leaders while collaborating with process owners.
  • Assist the Strategic Sourcing community by conducting necessary analyses across various categories and reporting in line with the strategic objectives within the Supply Chain framework.

Role Contribution

To effectively translate Supply Chain strategy into actionable procedures and systems while ensuring ongoing enhancement of operational methods, the responsibilities of the Sourcing Strategy Analyst include the following, as directed by the Group Strategic Sourcing Manager.

Data Analysis

Conduct essential internal and external analyses across categories.

Consolidate internal benchmarks for performance evaluation.

Measure of Effectiveness:

  • Responsible for performing data analysis (both internal and external) as required by the Group Strategic Sourcing Manager.
  • Translate the outcomes of these analyses into visual reports for distribution to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the adequacy of the analysis and obtain approval from business stakeholders.

Reporting and Documentation

Produce various Strategic Sourcing reports, newsletters, and documentation as needed by the business.

Manage the risk and opportunities register and its reporting.

Support Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting initiatives.

Measure of Effectiveness:

  • Regularly issue reports to relevant internal business entities following internal approval.
  • Incorporate feedback and ensure that reporting remains updated according to business needs.
  • Generate presentations, reports, and analyses as directed.
