Senior Regulatory Risk Management Specialist

As a Senior Regulatory Model Management Specialist at ABN Amro, you will play a key role in shaping the bank's model landscape. Your expertise in quantitative risk management and regulatory requirements will help us design and implement effective models for credit risk management.
You will work closely with the Credit Risk Control Unit to ensure that our models are aligned with regulatory requirements and business needs. Your responsibilities will include providing advice on model design, implementation, and oversight, as well as performing impact assessments of changes in capital requirements.
We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements for credit risk, including the use of internal ratings-based approach (IRB) and standardized approach (SA). Your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential in this role.
As a member of our Risk Data and Analytics department, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our regulatory models. These models are critical to the bank's operations, and your expertise will help us ensure that they are accurate and effective.
Key Responsibilities- Advise on model design, implementation, and oversight
- Perform impact assessments of changes in capital requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure model alignment with regulatory requirements and business needs
- Develop and maintain our regulatory models
- Minimum 7 years of experience in credit risk management, policy, and framework development or regulatory reporting
- Exceptional understanding of regulatory requirements for credit risk, including IRB and SA
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Pro-active mentality and collaborative attitude
