Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to join our team at Airbus Netherlands. As a key member of our Marketing and Communications department, you will be responsible for creating and delivering compelling employee-oriented content and contributing to programs that actively engage our internal audiences.

Reporting to the Manager Marketing & Communications, you will translate business strategies into organisational messages, develop appropriate internal communications initiatives, and execute and drive programs that create excitement, support change, drive engagement, align teams, and shape our culture.

With a strong focus on collaboration, you will work closely with our Public Affairs Manager to blend communications tasks with impactful public affairs work, offering a dynamic platform to engage with diverse stakeholders and shape meaningful narratives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement internal communications strategies that align with business objectives
  • Create engaging content for various channels, including employee communications, social media, and public affairs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and achieve organisational goals
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently deliver high-quality results on-time and on-budget
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communications and public affairs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Communications Sciences, Journalism, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in internal communications or a related field
  • Experience in public affairs is a plus
  • Native Dutch and fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
